(September
3, 2005 -- Athens)
The Tyler Junior College Apaches rolled up 413
yards of offense, but no touchdowns in their 27-12
loss to Trinity Valley.
Freshman quarterback Josh Hill threw for 215 yards, and
running back Brian Rodgers had his second straight
100-yard game (17 carries, 137 yards), but the
Apaches failed to dent the end zone.
Sophomore kicker Jonathan Roberts tied a Southwest
Junior College Football Conference record with four
field goals (17, 31, 48, 36).
The Apaches return home next Saturday to host Kilgore
College (0-1).
