Apaches Fall To TVCC
Roberts Ties SWJCFC Record With 4 FGs

    (September 3, 2005 -- Athens) The Tyler Junior College Apaches rolled up 413 yards of offense, but no touchdowns in their 27-12 loss to Trinity Valley.
     Freshman quarterback Josh Hill threw for 215 yards, and running back Brian Rodgers had his second straight 100-yard game (17 carries, 137 yards), but the Apaches failed to dent the end zone.
     Sophomore kicker Jonathan Roberts tied a Southwest Junior College Football Conference record with four field goals (17, 31, 48, 36).
     The Apaches return home next Saturday to host Kilgore College (0-1).
