August 15, 2005 -- The 2005 Pre-Season NJCAA poll features five Tyler Junior College Apaches designated as Pre-Season All-Americans.
    Apache quarterback Markeith Sanders, offensive lineman Shannon Boatman, defensive back Gerard Lewis, defensive end Michael McDonald, and kicker Jonathan Roberts were all named as Honorable Mentions on the NJCAA's list of the top players in the country.
    The Apaches are also ranked #4 in the NJCAA's pre-season poll.
